Public areas
When using the a public portion of the Website you are not required to provide any personal information and we do not monitor or collect any personally identifiable information from you.
We may track the number of users who visit areas of the Website, but this tracking will not identify you. Information of a personal nature will only be required where requests are made by those browsing the Website to have information sent to them in person. This information may be collected by the school or by a contracted third party on its behalf.

The copyrights of material, which staff (and/or others) create as part of their duties as employee of the school belongs to the school. Unless staff have express permission to do so, they must not distribute such material, as such actions would breach the school’s copyright.
 
Contributing to the Website (School staff only)
If you become a named contributor to the Website whether as an article author or recipient addressee for information your personal details will be limited to first name, surname, job title and internal school address. It is reasonable to expect such information from you in order to establish legitimacy and furthermore to ensure those accessing the Website know who to contact. The Website will not accept anonymous literature contributions.
Although the use of personal information is limited the school has ensured that the purposes for using personal information on the Website have undergone legal justification under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. The school maintains strict security standards and procedures with a view to preventing unauthorised access to school Information. We may use leading technologies such as (but not limited to) anti virus software, fire walls and server authentication to protect the security of data.
